I hold a BA in Fine Art, with an emphasis in painting. For several years I worked as a graphic designer in New York City, producing art for an advertising agency. When I returned to the West Coast, I did both interior and graphic design in Napa Valley. From 1998 to 2009 I was an art consultant and director for the I. Wolk Gallery in St. Helena, California.
